Mother nature has blessed us with adequate rain and more than our share of adequate heat, both of which make Bermuda grass very happy. Maybe happier than some of the players who look as if they took a dip in the pond prior to completion of their rounds.

But in spite of the heat and the occasional afternoon shower, Cat Island Club remains the place to be when you’re looking for your favorite place to be!

Dining at Cat Island Club includes Prime Rib Night on the second Friday of each month. We also host a marvelous Fish Fry on the third Wednesday of each month. Happy Hours are everyone’s favorite every Friday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM. And starting next month, we’ll be hosting our monthly theme nights, (look for an Italian night to kick off this new feature) and date night where you can bring your special loved one for a romantic dinner at the Club. We will also be introducing our Ladies Luncheon for August. Look for those details in upcoming posts from CIC.

Grass Masters is still the biggest game in town. Thursday evenings is where the action is on our golf course. This 3 player, nine-hole captains choice event is nothing short of epic. Reach out to a Cat Island Club member if you are interested in playing.

I also want to wish our Rocker Team the very best this weekend as they traveled to Palmetto Club for the second leg of the year-long Rocker Invitational. Teams from Cat Island Club, Palmetto Club in Aiken, The Cliffs from the Upstate and Cuscowilla Club in Georgia are competing for the coveted Rocker to adorn their respective outdoor space. After the first round, our CIC team has some work to do to catch up, but I’m confident that Captain B will have them ready to play!
