These events bring members together to share time with family, meet new people, and strengthen our community by creating a place where everyone feels at home.
I also send this message to many who are not yet members. My hope is to paint a clear picture of what membership at Cat Island Club looks and feels like. Our events are fun for the entire family. As a Life Member of the PGA, I’ve dedicated my career to the wonderful game of golf. I love watching beginners of all ages learn the game, seeing juniors develop not just their golf skills but life skills along the way, and experiencing how this great game brings people together.
That’s truly what membership is all about. We have so many members who have moved to Beaufort from places like Charlotte, Colorado, Ohio, and beyond, people whose paths might never have crossed otherwise. Yet, through fate and the shared spirit of this club, they meet here at Cat Island and form lifelong friendships. It’s a place where everyone knows your name and smiles when you walk through the door.
While many members join through friendships and connections with current members, others come looking for exactly that connection. Our professional team takes great pride in helping new members feel comfortable from day one. We make introductions, host events, and foster an environment where new faces quickly become familiar ones. Before long, smiles turn to laughter, and glasses are raised in celebration of new friendships. That’s what a true club experience is all about, and it’s something we value deeply here at Cat Island Club.
