I’m always excited to speak with so many people wanting to move to Beaufort, or have recently done so. They are all so thrilled to find a place where they can meet new friends and build a social circle that becomes an unbreakable lifestyle; that is a major perk of membership at Cat Island Club. 

I’m so proud that our club will be taking part in sponsoring Military Appreciation Day next Thursday at the Highway 21 Drive In. As a Marine brat with a rich history in the Marine Corps, and a parent of a Navy Vet, my wife and I can’t wait to shake a few hundred hands and salute our heroes. Cat Island Club will be raffling off some cool prizes and giveaways at the Salute to our Service Members Day next Thursday evening. In addition, we’ll be inviting all military members to help us celebrate our one-year Anniversary over Memorial Day weekend. Along with the celebration of our Anniversary, we’ll be hosting Patriot Golf Weekend to benefit the Folds of Honor. All veterans who have golf at Cat Island Club on your bucket list, please make plans to visit the club during Patriot Golf Weekend. I’ll be sharing more details in the coming weeks about this celebration so circle your calendars now.

Membership at Cat Island Club comes in many elements and forms. Some members enjoy lounging at the pool while enjoying an adult beverage or spending time with their families soaking in the sun. Others love the golf course and practice range to sharpen their skills for ultimate relaxation or competition. Everyone enjoys a great meal in a comfortable environment. Our dining room features a great menu for lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays with an amazing Brunch on Sundays. Members also share their pride in the community by supporting our efforts to be a positive influence in this historical town that we love so much.

Golfers will also see some noticeable enhancements to the golf course over the next several days and weeks. Ben and his team are continuing their efforts to improve the golf course by working outside the fairways, tees, and greens. You’ll be sure to notice some changes to the pond banks and waste areas along #1, #2, #8 and #15 over the next few weeks. Our goals have not changed, we simply wish to provide you with an exceptional golf experience and like your golf games, it takes some time as we continue to grow and evolve.
