Clubs all around the nation will be celebrating Patriot Golf Weekend where PGA professionals raise money for the Folds of Honor. We’ll be leading the charge at Cat Island Club and we’ll be looking to all of you to participate and donate to this most worthy cause. I’ll give more details in upcoming weeks, but I want you all to circle your calendars for Memorial Day Weekend at Cat Island Club. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for during this special holiday.

This past week on the golf course, Ben and his team continue to make progress on several key areas that we’ve identified for improvement. This past week, a golfer asked me a question, “When will you be done with the restoration project?” My answer was simple, “Never!” What I meant was we’ll continue to improve and enhance our club in every aspect forever. There will always be room for improvement and projects to ensure progress. So, when you see a project underway on the golf course or around the club, just know, that particular project made it to the top of the list and we’re just checking them off as we go. 

Our pool dining service will begin early next month as sunbathers will turn into sun diners as we soak up the spring rays and get a jump start on our summer tan. The water is still a bit chilly, but refreshing, depending on your perspective.

Lastly, membership continues to grow. I’m so grateful to those of you who have joined recently and obviously, all members who continue to enjoy the club each and every day with every experience. For those of you who are thinking about a Golf Membership, please feel free to call me or email me anytime. I would enjoy meeting you and sharing the vision for the future of Cat Island Club, I sincerely hope that you will be a part of that future.
