As we continue to get closer and closer to the opening of the clubhouse, plans are coming together for opening parties and such. Chef Lucas has prepared a fabulous menu for the dining room and our team is growing with service staff and bartenders who will produce exceptional experiences for our members and their guests in the clubhouse. As the final details of opening become available, I’ll be sure to inform everyone on this list. Please remember that, at this point, the dates are a bit of a moving target. That said, I am confident that in the next two weeks we’ll have all the final details nailed down with equipment deliveries and such.

Membership
- Our summer Membership Incentive Program for current members continues to produce new members each week. We’re so pleased to see the club growing with new smiling faces.
- Remember, we do have a membership option for active-duty service men and women. Nothing makes us happier than to serve those who protect our freedom.
Racquet Sports
- We’re hosting another Pickleball Round Robin event next Thursday, August 17th. The event will begin at 6:00 and the cost will be $15 for members and $20 for accompanied guests of members.

Clubhouse
- While firm dates for our soft opening remain a moving target, we have circled September 9th for our Clubhouse Grand Opening Party.
- We’ll have plenty of food, beverages and La Bodega band will provide the entertainment for this fun night.
- Members are welcome to invite guests to this event. More details will be available on Clubster.
- The football games will be on the screens in the clubhouse and on the Oak Patio.
Cat Island Club Life
- Members, make sure to plan to attend the Labor Day pool party on Saturday, September 2nd with live music, great eats and a watermelon eating contest rematch!
– The Grill will open at noon and run until 8:00 PM.
– The Debbie McDaniels band will be performing poolside from 1-4PM. - The final Summer Camp of the season is in the books and was another successful creation of lifetime memories.
– A special thank you to CIC member Charlotte Hoffman for her tireless work and dedication to our campers. She is a Club Superstar and we’re grateful for her warm heart and ever-present smile. Be sure to check out the peace poles that were decorated by our campers and planted around the pool on your next visit.
Good luck to all the students heading back to school. Study hard, pay attention and have a great school year.
