At Cat Island Club, we suggest tee times so we can greet you properly when you arrive, but the course is rarely crowded. Golf here feels unhurried—just you, the course, and the salty air. Occasionally a friendly wager adds to the fun, but the experience is truly about enjoying the game and the setting. Cat Island Club is about exceptional experiences.
End-of-Summer Guest Special
Members, we’d love for you to showcase your club to your guests this time of year. While the weather hasn’t been perfect for fishing or sunbathing, it’s been excellent for growing grass, and the golf course is in great condition. In addition to our popular monthly guest days, you can now bring guests each Tuesday and Wednesday through September for the 9-hole rate. Invite friends or family for an early-week round and save a few dollars while enjoying the club.
Member/Guest Championship
There’s still time to sign up for the annual Member/Guest Championship, September 19–21. Call Keith in the golf shop for details and to register your team. Trust me—you won’t want to miss this event!
Host Your Tournament at Cat Island
For those of you who organize tournaments, we still have many open dates on the calendar. If you’d like to book an event with 20+ players on a weekday, reach out to me for discounted pricing on multiple tee times. Whether it’s your work group, church, neighborhood, or just friends looking for a new venue, bring them out to see what all the chatter is about.
Dining & Social Events
We’ve loved hosting Italian Night earlier this month and our fish fry this week. Next Wednesday, Chef Merritt is planning a special Date Night, and don’t forget every Friday is Happy Hour from 5:00–6:00. Soon, the Oak Patio will be the perfect spot as evenings begin to cool down.
Carnival Cat – Next Friday
Mark your calendars! Everyone is invited to our very first Carnival Cat next Friday evening. We’ll have games and contests on the range, plus cotton candy and snow cones. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend with a good ol’-fashioned carnival—Cat Island style.
