Tomorrow is our annual Santa Brunch. Our house, the Clubhouse will be overfilled with friends and plenty of smiling faces of the children as they visit with St. Nick. We’re beyond thrilled to have the Cat Island Club being a part of their Christmas celebrations and memories!
This past week, I had a chance to play a few holes and reflect on the season. Please understand that I grew up in Pittsburgh. It’s still hard for me to get used to playing golf and admiring Christmas decorations at the homes along the fairways. Visions of Scotty Camerons and Pro V’s still dance in my head, even today. I love the holiday season!
Make your reservations for Wednesday evening, as Chef Corey is planning a special Italian Christmas dinner on Wednesday night. We’ll have some fun with Christmas Trivia during the night to ensure we have lots of laughter and fun!
The Christmas Pre-Fixe dinner is indeed the tree topper for the year. On Saturday, December 21st, Chef will have his full talents on display with this extraordinary evening of dining and wine. While it’s on the other side of the spectrum as the Santa Brunch, the dinner will be a very special evening with a more intimate celebration.
The club will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to allow our amazing team to celebrate with their families, but with the New Year comes the Hangover Open. This four-player team will play a variety of formats and will start the day and New Year with what else—Bloody Marys and Bagels. Call the golf shop today to register your team in this annual kick-off classic. If you would like to play and are looking for a team, our golf professionals will help because we love bringing people together.
Now is the perfect time to join the Cat Island Club and enjoy these events immediately. We have launched a very special holiday offer for membership.
