One of the beautiful sights at Cat Island Club are three of our spectacular par 3 holes are on the water’s edge. Those summer breezes sure feel good unless of course, your ball crosses one of those water’s edges. Life on an island is full of breezes, so when you think it’s too hot to play golf, just remember, we’re not in Arizona.
After golf, Cat Island Club has you covered. Tonight’s Prime Rib night was sold out! Chef Merritt and the entire F&B team have been moving the needle since arrival and we’re so pleased and excited to see the turnout for tonight. In fact, both Merritt and Alex will have their fingerprints on each Friday from now on. Happy Hours will feature some delicious hors d’ouevres from Merrit and fun summer cocktails from the beverage side to create a great start to each weekend. See you at 5:00 next Friday and each Friday thereafter.
Next Wednesday our monthly Fish Fry kick offs with a bang! We’ll be featuring a great haddock and cornmeal fried shrimp. Judging by the prime rib night response, be sure to get your reservations in early for this not to be missed Fish Fry at reservations@catislandclub.com.
The late afternoon summer showers have been known to throw a wrench into our Thursday night Grass Masters, but fear not, we’ll keep playing between the raindrops, but not the lightning flashes. So, if you are looking for a fun and slightly competitive game each Thursday, reach out to a CIC golf member about playing in our weekly captain’s choice event.
So, if these great dinners, golf events, lounging poolside and other visions of club membership are appealing, please give me a call or send me an email expressing an interest to join in the fun. Our membership continues to grow day after day and week after week. Join in the momentum and come out and see what everyone is talking about—Cat Island Club. We may not be the oldest or most expensive club in the Lowcountry, but we are the most fun! I hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend everyone.
With warmest regards,
Tim Mervosh
