Like the azaleas, our membership is also blooming quite well. We’re adding new members to the club that forge new friendships and relationships between families. We are expecting this trend to continue and even skyrocket over the next several months. One of the foundation events for CIC is our weekly Grass Masters. With the recent time change, Grass Masters is back on schedule with the first event of the 2026 summer season scheduled for this Thursday evening. Please call the golf shop to enter your team. Note, this is a member’s event, but if you would like to play and know a member with golf privileges, throw your name in the hat for a spot on the team and we’ll see you on Thursday.
We’re also the proud hosts of the US Kids South Carolina Invitational this coming weekend. Juniors from 31 states and 6 international countries will be competing for the top prizes in this elite junior competition. Write down the names of these champions and one day, you can say, “I remember when….”
Friday night, Campfire Tyler will be back in the house as he plays his greatest hits for Happy Hour and beyond this week. Members, reservations are recommended as Campfire has consistently filled the house.
Later this month, we’ll be hosting our first Wine Class on the 24th with Alex Young, Sommelier. We’ll be launching our new wine menu soon for members to enjoy all summer long. Prime Rib night returns on Friday, the 27th with Chef Glen preparing mouth watering Prime Rib cooked to order.
As I mentioned, there is no better time to join Cat Island Club than right now. We have an incredible year planned and it starts tomorrow.
