If you would like to put a smile on your face, consider our Fall for the Fairway membership promotion. By joining our club before October 31st in any of our three golf categories, you will not pay monthly dues until March 2026. You heard that right. There is truly no better time to join, enjoy fall golf, and take part in a full calendar of events for the rest of the year.
The membership at Cat Island Club is smiling as well. This week marks our annual Club Championship, and the golf course is in tournament-ready condition. In addition, Chef Merritt is hosting German Night tonight at the Clubhouse to celebrate Oktoberfest, with a fantastic menu of German favorites for our members and their guests to enjoy.
Next week brings another dining-room favorite, Prime Rib Night. It is always a hit, and unlike dining at a crowded restaurant, our members can park right outside the door, settle in without the noise, and enjoy a meal with friends where everyone knows your name. That is what dining at CIC feels like. (And yes, we wish more members would make reservations, but that is a story for another day.)
And now, another big announcement. Cat Island Club will host the Beaufort County Championship on November 22–23. All play will begin at CIC on Saturday, with the final round held Sunday at Ocean Point. Flights include the Championship Flight for low-handicap players and professionals, an Open Flight for anyone wishing to compete, a Senior Flight, and a Super Senior Flight for our most experienced players. In addition to golf at each course, players will enjoy a Lowcountry Boil at CIC and a Barbecue lunch at Fripp Island after play. Your entry also includes tee favors and prizes. Sign up now and enjoy a discounted practice round at each club. This is your chance to put your name on the trophy for years to come.
