As I mentioned last week, we have a vast array of events to enjoy. Whether it’s golf for fun, a little competition, comradery, family time or just plain relaxing time—there is no better way to enjoy a spectacular fall afternoon in the Lowcountry than playing golf. Post Covid, most golf courses in the region are packed with players. This sometimes leads to a less than desirable experience. As Cat Island Club is a startup club, members can enjoy the ease of getting a starting time plus a relaxed round where pace of play is set by your group and not the masses ahead of you. Families can enjoy time with children learning the game; beginners and experts will enjoy the fun and challenge of the Cat Island Club golf experience.
Then after golf, there is a place for an exceptional dining experience. Our Oak Patio overlooks the lagoons of the 18th green and magnificent live oaks. The food and service levels are beyond what you would expect from most any place in Beaufort. In a very short time, we’ve set a high standard and are developing a reputation for service that is second to none. Whether you are in the mood for a simple burger or salad after golf or a spectacular wine dinner in the evening under the stars, Cat Island Club is the place to be in the Lowcountry.
We’re so proud of our Club that we want you to share and see for yourself the amazing member experience. Everyone reading this note is able to experience Cat Island Club as a “member for a day” from Wednesday, October 4th through Sunday, October 8th. What this means is that you can book a tee time three days in advance for any day next week starting on Wednesday the 4th through Sunday the 8th. We will be charging the accompanied Guest of Member rate for golf these five special days. If you are interested in playing at Cat Island Club next week, please call 843-524-2000 ext. 101 to make a tee time, three days in advance.
In addition to that, we also wish to host you for lunch and/or dinner during the same five days. Our dining room will be available for “member for a day” starting Wednesday the 4th of October with lunch or dinner service through Saturday, October 7th. We’ll also host our very special Sunday Brunch available to all of you on October 8th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Please remember, reservations are required and very limited as our membership always comes first. For that reason, we’re limiting reservations of each of these special days to the first 30 people. You can make a reservation by emailing reservations@catislandclub.com. On that email, be very specific as to the day and time that you wish to reserve and the number of guests in your party. You will receive confirmation from the Club once your reservation is approved.
So, this is the time Beaufort to see what all the buzz is about at Cat Island Club. They say if you visit the Lowcountry in October, you are liable to stay forever. We believe the same may just be true here at Cat Island Club; once you experience the perks of membership, there is no turning back. Now is the time to enjoy the area’s newest private club for yourself with golf and dining for this very limited time during the most spectacular time of year.
